Ian Poole Joins Subway as Vice President of Development, North America

Sarasota, FL – Blue Rock Search is pleased to have partnered with Subway to place Ian Poole as the company’s new Vice President of Development for North America.


Subway is one of the world’s largest quick service restaurant brands, serving freshly made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, salads and bowls to millions of guests, across over 100 countries in more than 37,000 restaurants every day. Subway restaurants are owned and operated by Subway franchisees – a network that includes more than 20,000 dedicated entrepreneurs and small business owners.


Poole brings over fifteen years of development experience to his new role. Prior to joining the Subway team, he served as the Vice President of Real Estate & Construction, Corporate Clubs, for Planet Fitness. He also spent two years as Chief Development Officer at Ambrosia QSR and nearly six years as Director of Real Estate at Dunkin’ Brands, Inc, among other roles. He is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and has extensive expertise in real estate, market-specific development, franchise growth, and more.
