Executive Assistant

Chris joined Blue Rock Search as an Executive Assistant in the retained Human Resources practice. She is responsible for providing all professional and personal administrative services to the Managing Partner/HR Practice Leader, while also supporting the rest of the HR practice, inclusive of Recruiting, Marketing, Business Development/Sales, and Operations. Chris also serves as the first point of contact for matters related to the administration of the HR Practice.

Throughout her career, Chris has held administrative and customer service positions in the manufacturing, accounting, banking and aggregates industries. Her previous positions consisted of Office Manager, Quality Coordinator/Lead Auditor, Purchasing Agent, Sales Coordinator, Engineering Assistant and Receptionist. This vast amount of experience has strengthened Chris’s administrative and leadership skills which is ideal for Blue Rock Search.

Get to know Chris

Chris recently relocated to the Knoxville area to work for Blue Rock Search. She was born and raised in northwest Ohio and was tired of flat land and cold winters so decided to move south. She has two daughters who are her pride and joy. The oldest, Allison, is a graphic designer in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The youngest, Audrey, is attending college at Grand Valley State University near Grand Rapids, Michigan on a diving scholarship.

Chris is one of those people that never meets a stranger and can have a conversation with anyone. She loves to travel to warm places and also loves the mountains of Tennessee. The most memorable place she has traveled to was the east coast of Australia. Her favorite pastime is shopping to find great deals at discount and second-hand stores. When she decides to relax, you will find her at home with the family dog, Sadie.

Henry County Ohio Humane Society – “I have adopted 2 cats from there in the last 30 years and each one of them held a very special place in my heart for different reasons. This is a non-profit, no-kill organization that does an amazing job rescuing animals with limited funds. I do like to remind people to please spay or neuter your pets so organizations like this aren’t left with an overpopulation.”
