Head of Human Resources

About the Role

The head of HR will provide leadership and direction to the organization’s four manufacturing sites. This role is crucial in establishing, enforcing, and evaluating compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices. The Head of HR will also focus on long-term strategic talent management goals and play a significant role in fostering a culture and systems that bolster business growth and expansion.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executive leadership to outline the organization’s long-term objectives and determine ways to support these through talent management.
• Identify key performance indicators for HR and talent management; evaluate organizational success and market position based on these metrics.
• Design and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
• Conduct organizational assessments, propose recommendations, and introduce solutions to enhance productivity and a culture that attracts and retains top talent.
• Offer guidance and leadership to the HR team; assist in resolving staffing, compensation, and benefits concerns.
• Ensure adherence to all employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, HR, and talent management.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and networking events.
• Undertake other duties and special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field required.
• 10+ years of Human Resources Management experience required.
• Multi-site and Private Equity experience including integration / acquisition of new companies.
• Proven track record of successfully executing mergers and acquisitions.
