About the Role

The VP of Human Resources develops, implements, and monitors strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to support operational and financial excellence as well as business growth through our most important assets, our human resources. This key leadership role ensures that policies, procedures, and actions comply with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate. The HR leader assists functional leaders with improving employee engagement, morale, and retention and promotes our organization’s culture, mission, and values through effective coaching, mentoring, and training of our company’s leaders and employees.

Key Priorities

  • Business-first People Leader: Establish, build, and leverage positive working relationships with the ELT. Provide organizational consulting and recommendations to ensure scalability of talent and processes to deliver on the company's operational and financial commitments. Leverage technology, metrics, data, and dashboards to define, track, and regularly communicate relevant KPIs to senior leadership, influencing talent conversations and managing ELT expectations.
  • HR Planning: Lead and champion the organization’s efforts to design the Human Resources function, inclusive of strategy, structure, talent, and technology. Develop an integrated planning view of HR projects & priorities.
  • Culture & Values: In partnership with the ELT, create, implement, and integrate leadership and employee behaviors that support company values and serve as the foundation for the people strategy. Lead collaborative efforts across the HR function to integrate behaviors into the full employee life cycle, from TA & onboarding to development, engagement, and retention.
  • Assess & Shape the Function: Conduct full assessment of People & Culture function, inclusive of strategy, structure, talent, and technology. Lead, mentor, and inspire People & Culture team in their efforts to support achievement of enterprise-wide goals.
