Blue Rock Search has partnered with an emerging franchisor in the commercial cleaning services industry .  Our client is seeking their next Franchise Business Coach with a strong background in business growth. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this highly crucial position will work closely with new and existing franchise business owners and help them drive their local growth efforts and implement best practices. As a Franchise Business Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising franchisees to ensure the success and profitability of their business. You will work closely with franchise owners, providing coaching, training and strategic guidance to help them achieve their business goals within the franchise system. Applicants must have a passion for scaling small business, a strong ability to influence others, an energetic attitude, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for someone that has experience in business coaching, an ability to communicate well, motivate others, hold business owners accountable to their commitments, and continue to build out the coaching program.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Offer strategic consulting to help businesses scale with the right planning, staffing, systems, processes, technology, and vendor partnerships
  • Initiate interventions to mitigate business churn
  • Provide personalized coaching and guidance on various aspects of franchise operations, including marketing, sales, customer service and financial management
  • Inspire and maintain exceptional customer service from our franchise network to the end client
  • Offer constructive feedback to help franchisees gain perspective, insight and to identify areas for improvement
  • Help franchise owners utilize business resources and implement tools and policies within the franchise system
  • Maintain a frequent contact with franchise owners to help each franchise owner stay engaged, accountable and focused on growth
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for each franchise owner and our corporate team to make informed decisions and provide in-depth, confidential business analysis as needed
  • Manage franchise contracts to assist in beneficial account transfers between franchise owners
  • Assist in the development and production of training materials for online learning and franchisee business support
  • Maintain brand standards and maintain franchise compliance with operational standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong ability to build relationships and motivate others
  • 5+ years business coaching experience
  • Ability to analyze and develop specific action plans around business financials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success in scaling small businesses – working knowledge of small business, financials, operations, organizational development, and employee management
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, and other analytical software packages
  • A bachelor’s degree. Preferably in business, communications, finance, or other business related fields

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High level organizational skills
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and franchise network
  • An entrepreneurial mindset – grit, innovative, agile, ability to pivot, empathetic
  • Comfortable making decisions and jumping in
  • While much of the work is done via phone and webinar, some travel may be required depending on the business needs
