About the Role  

As the Product Owner of HR Technology, the candidate must ensure the technology implemented can adapt to meet evolving business and employee needs. The role will be responsible for working with HR COEs, leadership, business units, and external partners to create an adaptive HR Technology strategy, define and prioritize services and solutions, and design a governance mechanism to review all HR technology investments as a portfolio versus siloed projects.  This role will directly oversee the business analysis, product support, development activities, and coordination of HR Systems. Furthermore, this position will analyze existing functionality, recommend process improvements, and feature implementations to increase the productivity of the department and enhance the overall employee experience. This person will work directly with key HR technology solutions, led by Workday, to align the product roadmap with business and employee needs and ensure full compliance, data security, and governance controls are met with all technology and process solutions. This role will be critical in driving a customer-oriented service to all business and support units in the organization for the HRIS function. 

Key Priorities 

  • Learn the business, organization & culture, and proactively establish and build successful working relationships across the enterprise to fully utilize the Workday platform.  
  • Stabilize the Workday platform, inclusive of eliminating Workday deficiencies and establishing a go-forward plan of action.
  • Collaborate with peers within HR, IT, and finance to drive successful implementation of key HR Technology projects.
  • Initiate the development of a long-term HR Technology roadmap for the organization.
