Lean Leader

Blue Rock Search has recently been engaged by one of our top clients, a global 2B+ aerospace manufacturer to identify their next Lean Leader.  This is an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leader and grow your career.  This Leader will be responsible for:

• Defines improvement goals, establishes accountability through QDRC metrics, uses Lean tools and techniques to continually improve processes and business results
• Acts as a liaison across the business segment with other functional areas
• Accountable for the technical aspects of problem solving, systems implementation and validation for projects and services
• Plan and manage resources to profit plan and capital plan
• Collaborate with other CI organizations across the organization to ensure alignment of the CI philosophies and methodologies and overarching best practices that is impactful and current with 'Best in Class' industry practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline would be a plus/ MBA a plus)
• 5+ years of lean manufacturing experience in a CI role, including lean transformation experience
• Low volume/high mix experience preferred; machine shop experience is a plus
• Hands-on; strong influencing and change management skills
• Position is based in Northern, IL; minimal travel
