About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Recruiter to join their team. As the Manufacturing Recruiter, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective and efficient recruiting strategies to attract, screen, and hire high-quality talent for manufacturing roles. The ideal candidate will lead the full cycle recruiting process and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, hiring managers, and candidates. The ideal candidate will lead strategic recruitment and talent sourcing initiatives and provide exceptional client service, promptly addressing all related requests and queries, streamlining, and improving the recruitment processes to ensure best practices in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals. Stay informed of trends and advancements in manufacturing and recruitment technologies to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Screening, Sourcing, and Assessment: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidate qualifications through interviews and skill evaluations to determine their fit for specific manufacturing roles. Proactively source and screen candidates through various channels, including online databases, job postings, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, establish job requirements, and define candidate profiles for open positions.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with candidates to keep them engaged throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback as appropriate.
  • Offer Negotiation: Facilitate the negotiation process between candidates and hiring managers, including discussing compensation, benefits, and other employment terms.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation, and integration into the manufacturing team.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative recruitment techniques to continuously improve the effectiveness of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and roles, as well as understanding of relevant skills and qualifications.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with iCIMS, Workday, Greenhouse or similar ATS systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.
