Operations Manager – REV

Position Summary

Blue Rock Search has recently been engaged by our key client, a leading global QSR franchisor, to identify their next Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee the Restaurant Excellence Visit program. Responsibilities include but not limited to program execution across all restaurants in North America as well as continuous improvement, identification of operational data insights and vendor management. This position will work closely with field operators, training team, the technology team, and vendors to calibrate the Brand’s standards with the REV vendors. The Ops Managers will also manage creation and implementation of changes and enhancements to properly execute the REV and overall operational standards.  Support BD teams, Market Operations teams and internal departments with accurate and current operational information directly related to field operations. Improve field operations REV and processes through researching topics and recognizing weaknesses and implementing change for improvement.

Essential Functions

  • Manage Restaurants Excellence Visit (REV) program and vendor in NA. Manage North American REV vendor to validate that all eligible restaurants receive REVs according to the quarterly schedule or onboarding schedule.  Work with vendor to make sure they understand the Brand’s standards, and REV consistency.  Support international leadership with their REV programs, and vendors as needed.  Review REV invoices and Support accounting.
  • Update and maintain all aspects of REV. Update REV materials as needed, write articles for publication to the Field.  Support company SMEs add new food products, equipment, or programs to REV.  Provide user Support for HQ, Market Ops, and BDs as needed.  Support technology with API and data validation efforts.  Support legal team were needed with REV data and the REV Process Action Plan.
  • Communicate (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) REV insights/trends results to appropriate company stake holders throughout the North America system to identify areas of improvement or recognition. Work with B.I. & Analytics team to support reporting.
  • Support Field Ops, Restaurant Ops, and Culinary Team on the development and rollout of new products and programs (i.e. Slicers, Panini, and Equipment Maintenance) as it relates to the REV program.

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of overall experience in QSR, field experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the mechanics in a restaurant from a day to day basis
  • Strong analytics skills, strong understanding of data and what to pull and can communicate this information
  • Microsoft Office knowledge - Emphasis on data analysis in Excel
  • Knowledge of Zoom and Teams conferencing platforms
  • Knowledge of organization and how each department interacts with each other.
  • Always operate with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly detail-orientated and hands-on
  • Work well with people and have the ability to multitask
