Blue Rock search has partnered with City Wide Facility Solutions to identify their next President. City Wide Facility Solutions is a third generation wholly owned family business that was founded in 1961. Starting out originally as “just” a janitorial company in Kansas City, City Wide now has over 100 owners all over the US and Canada and provides more than 25 different facility maintenance solutions to commercial properties which include, lawn and landscaping, janitorial and handy man services, anything from roof to curb. All services are performed by certified Independent Contractors, which allows our franchises to focus on sales and the client experience.

City Wide Franchise company is in business to find and coach independent business owners () how to successfully grow and operate a City-Wide Facility Solutions business. The focuses on providing a “business in a box” where we have world class technology, marketing, training, HR, legal and any other “back house” service that an independent operator would need.These services save our owners time and save them money and allow them to focus on what they do best. We are a B2B sales organization first and foremost and believe in delivering a world class experience for the client, delivering on our promises, and doing what we say we are going to do.

Currently we have 8/10ths of 1% market share which means it has taken us 63 years to get to $800M in collective systemwide revenue. The market is a $100B industry and we are projecting our to bill over $1B in revenue by EOY 2026 and $2B in revenue by EOY 2030. These are very exciting, high growth times for our company.

This is not a turnaround situation. This is a company that is having fantastic success and has an even brighter future. The biggest threat to our growth is us, our own limiting beliefs and/or our own policies and/or people who make it harder for the to win. We have the best people, the best business model and there is no reason why we should not be the best in the industry (not trying to be the biggest).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for leading a world-class team which includes hiring, managing, and mentoring department heads who share our vision of being the first choice and who share our mission of spreading the ripple.
  • Responsible for making sure the team has the tools and resources required to make the brand’s goals and promises a reality.
  • Responsible for developing and achieving the growth plan as defined by the 10-year plan which includes top and bottom line objectives to get systemwide sales to $2B by 2030.
  • Responsible for all development, ensuring we sell out the remaining territories in the US and Canada.
  • Responsible for the general oversight and ongoing maintenance of the FDD and Operating Manuals.
  • Responsible for monthly financial reporting with the CEO and board.
  • Responsible for leading weekly staff meetings and monthly scorecards with all.
  • Responsible for weekly meetings with the CEO to discuss strategy, opportunities, and threats.
  • Responsible for convention, FAC, SPA meetings and Meet the Team Days.
  • Responsible for establishing a great relationship with all including Kansas City and their multiple Partnership Affiliate Locations (PAL’s) so we can make sure we are doing everything we can to help the be successful.

REQUIREMENTS: Must Have’s

  • Reside in Kansas City.
  • Minimum of 10 years in B2B leadership.
  • B2B sales background and great IT skills.
  • The drive to climb the ladder and is very hungry for career growth.
  • Have the “it” factor, the kind of person people want to be around, we are looking for an inspirational leader of leaders, a teacher, a coach, who is fully committed to our mutual success.
  • Verifiable track record in delivering world class experiences and believes in amazing customer service.
  • Tends to be an optimist who sees what is possible and a consummate learner who leads with a servant heart.
  • Dedicated to City Wide Facility Solutions and be their only full-time working interest.
  • Must share the owner’s vision of where we are going and how we will get there and WANTs to be the other half of a dynamic duo.

REQUIREMENTS: Prefer to Have

  • Has experience and led through influence and preferable dealing with a union (SPA).
  • International experience.
  • MBA and has experience with private equity.
  • Previously owned a business.
