The Project Coordinator Restaurant Design is the primary design liaison between Headquarters and the BDA/Franchisee community. They are responsible for managing the flow, review and distribution of design project requests for remodels completed by offshore design resources for bulk production. The Project Coordinator Restaurant Design will design floor plans for all new and relocating restaurants in all markets that we serve.


  • Daily management of assigned BDA territories within specific regions to be a single point person.
  • Receiving and logging all design requests and facilitating day to day communications with BDAs and Franchisees.
  • At the end of each business day, work completed by the Project Coordinator Restaurant Design as well as from the offshore design team will be submitted in SUBS identifying which jobs were completed so that they can be tracked accordingly in the company’s data systems.
  • Be responsible for archiving full sets completed by in-house and offshore design teams.
  • Utilize current design software to create site specific floor plans that adhere to the company’s determined design and décor criteria for new locations and relocations.
  • This person will maintain an acceptable turnaround time on all floor plan requests and if unable to achieve an acceptable turnaround they will seek assistance through provided resources within the department, as well as the offshore design team.
  • Work with offshore design teams to share across remodel requests and all associated files/communications to support the completion of request. Receive and review for quality control the remodel full sets from the offshore design team.
  • Create EOS test file for importation into the Equipment Ordering Software.
  • Design exterior mockups of existing buildings upon request utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud software products.
  • Provide guidance on implementing the brand trade dress including call outs for exterior materials and finishes as well as signage.
  • Gather and maintain documentation of all requirements and options for new locations and remodels unique to the Project Coordinator Restaurant Design's assigned regions, Business Units and BDA territories.


  • 1 to 3+ years (3 to 5 preferred) in interior design or architecture. Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) design experience a plus.
  • Certificate of Revit/AutoCAD Training
  • Thorough knowledge in the areas of architectural design.
  • Expert knowledge of 3D design software. Essential to communicate design concepts. Required software expertise in Revit and AutoCAD. SketchUp, 3ds Max are a plus.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the company in a tactful and diplomatic way.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign


  • Preferred Associate’s in Interior Design, Architecture or Graphic Design
