Blue Rock Search has partnered with a franchise company with 30+ years of success as a franchisor in the UK and Canada to replicate their remarkable success in the U.S markets. This rapidly growing nutritional solutions company, catering to the Senior market is looking to identify their U.S. Sr. Director of Franchise Development. As a key member of our team, you will lead the strategic growth and development of this franchise brand to expand their U.S. franchise footprint. This individual will be responsible for driving the sales process from lead generation to closing deals: signing agreements for new, single and multi-unit franchise development. In addition, The Sr Director of Development will focus on building and nurturing relationships throughout the entire franchise development process. As part of the leadership team, this person must have strong business acumen to drive goal achievement for the organization.


  • Franchise Development Strategy – The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of an ability to rally internal and external stakeholders around the vision and execute with excellence.
  • S/he will be responsible for deploying the new franchisee development plan in collaboration with the logistics manager, IT, Finance and Franchisees on the critical path for a successful launch of each new sale.
  • Franchise relations and driving performance – they will be point of contact in the early days until the corporate team develops as we scale
  • The successful candidate will leverage data and core insights to identify new growth opportunities which can be executed in-market. This leader will also have experience leading teams and managing multiple initiatives while growing the company’s capability to add new locations.
  • Collaborative & entrepreneurial – Reporting to the President, this individual should be comfortable working as part of a highly collaborative and mutually supportive management team.
  • S/he will need experience working in a hands-on, dynamic, fast moving and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Execute the full life cycle recruitment process – initial inquiry all the way to close.
  • Screen and evaluate qualified candidates based on their development capacity, operational skill level and financial qualifications to ensure the candidate’s facility meets established qualification criteria.
  • Manage the administration of franchise contracts and disclosure procedures while maintaining legal compliance with all federal and state-specific franchise sales regulations.


Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience Franchise sales experience.
  • Must have verifiable track record of selling franchise opportunities that reflect a solid record of meeting agreed upon development schedules.
  • Proven record Franchise sales growth and execution with long-term positive outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of FDD legal requirements.
  • Excellent at building rapport with candidates, existing franchise owners and company employees.
  • High energy, positive outlook and can work collaboratively across departments.

PC Skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Ability to quickly learn relevant software and applications.

Knowledge of sales tracking applications.
