About the Role

The Sr. Director Human Resources will partner with the CHRO to develop and implement an HR Strategic Plan and lead cross-functional projects. This person will build and lead a team of HR Managers/Generalists/Coordinators to define the capabilities required to support the company as it scales throughout the USA. This person will also bring a highly analytical mind and deep business context to deliver the right HR solutions to these strategic functions. S/he will understand how to work with leadership teams to evolve the organization through transformational work and will collaborate across the People function to deliver growth strategies. The ideal candidate will be a highly strategic operator with the stature and leadership capability to attract, develop, and retain a best-in-class HRBP function.  The Sr. Director HR will bring creative and effective organizational solutions to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture.

 

Key Priorities

  • Business Partnerships: Establish, build, and leverage positive working relationships with ELT, HR team, and business leaders. This role will partner particularly closely with the Regional VP to assess the needs of the Division, which comprises over 2,500 employees across 7 manufacturing sites.
  • Assess and Shape the Function: Conduct full assessment of the 16-person team, consisting of Sr. HR Managers, HR Managers, Generalists, and Coordinators. Lead, mentor, and inspire the team in their efforts to support achievement of growth goals and objectives.
  • HR Strategy/Org Design: Partner with Divisional ELT, CHRO, and HR peers to define the HR Service Delivery Model, inclusive of structure, process, analytics, tools, and talent. Roadmap and drive the implementation of effective HR programs and functional improvements required to achieve the company’s financial goals and objectives and enable future business growth.
  • Experience & Culture: In collaboration with business leaders and people managers, identify, develop, and deploy employee experience programs and campaigns that unify and harmonize company culture. Foster retention, engagement, and a sense of belonging across a geographically dispersed and culturally/ethnically diverse employee population. Coach/guide leaders and associates to ensure consistency between stated corporate values and behaviors.
