About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role will lead our client's 40-person Talent Acquisition team in shaping a more strategic, agile, and customer-focused TA function capable of delivering business outcomes and efficiently filling 6,000 requisitions annually, while simultaneously enhancing hiring manager and candidate experience. Toward that goal, the incoming VP TA will need to execute a full functional assessment and rebuild, inclusive of structure, talent, culture, process, technology, and analytics. S/he must be a collaborative leader, skilled in developing/leveraging symbiotic partnerships – both across the enterprise (with business leaders, hiring managers, HRLT) and also externally (with vendors, universities/technical schools, community organizations/non-profits, government agencies, etc.).

Key Priorities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, stabilize, and inspire the 40-person TA team for a $3B+ high-growth industry leader.
  • Org Design: Develop and implement the functional structure, processes, tools, and metrics required to support a geographically dispersed organization of 20,000+ employees and efficiently fill approximately 6,000 openings annually, while transforming hiring manager & candidate experience.
  • TA Tech & Analytics: Partner with HR Technology team & Corporate IT on the successful execution of TA technology implementations. Drive the cross-functional utilization of KPIs, analytics and dashboards to influence HR/business decisions and proactively manage executive leadership expectations.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and implement external search vendor performance scorecard. Utilize scorecard process & results to lead successful consolidation, cost reduction, and ongoing management of search vendors across the enterprise.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (ideally in human resources, business administration, or related field); Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience within Talent Acquisition; minimum of 5 years leading a TA function for a large, complex, matrixed organization.
