Bryan Vass

Senior Director of Research & Sourcing

As Director of Research and Sourcing for Blue Rock Search, Bryan leads the research and sourcing activities supporting Franchise and Customer Experience (CX) executive search for Blue Rock.  Bryan has 19 years’ experience in the Executive Recruiting industry, working across all industries and functions.
By understanding each specific project and executing a targeted search plan utilizing a variety of sources and technologies, Bryan identifies our clients’ competitors and locates the contacts within those companies, ultimately identifying the passive impact players. Bryan is also responsible for maintaining our confidential database of companies and candidates, so that we can respond to new searches with speed and precision.

Get to Know Bryan

Bryan was born and raised in Richmond, VA and currently resides in Sarasota, FL with his wife Brittany, sons James, Brandon and Nolan and their two dogs. Bryan is a sports fan. He is well versed and up to date on football and baseball! He loves watching and attending sporting events including Cubs and Rays baseball, Commanders and Buccaneers football and the local Little League Baseball games his son James participates in.

Charity of Choice for Bryan

“The V Foundation: Established by Jim Valvano, their mission is to fund Cancer research to help find cures.  This is important to me because too many lives are lost each year to this horrible disease and it has taken people and animals close to me.  The famous speech by Mr. Valvano before he lost his battle with cancer was also very impactful and the words ‘Don’t give up, don’t ever give up.’ are ingrained in my memory.”
