Get to Know Michelle

Originally from Northwest Ohio, Michelle made the move to sunny Florida in 2019 with her then-boyfriend (now husband!), Eric. The two recently tied the knot in a beautiful beach wedding on Anna Maria Island—a favorite getaway spot they’ve loved visiting for years.

A passionate fitness enthusiast, Michelle makes staying active a priority, whether she’s at the gym or being chased around by their high-energy (and very lovable) Fawn Pitbull, Conan.

Michelle’s all about making memories—she enjoys trying new foods and experiences, boating in the Gulf, hiking, camping, and catching live concerts whenever she can. You’ll often find her exploring the outdoors, cruising on a motorcycle with Eric, or savoring a perfect Florida sunset.

Whether it’s sharing good times with friends or diving into a new adventure, Michelle brings energy and positivity to everything she does.

Charity of Choice for Michelle

Southern State Bully Rescue (SSBR) is a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating bully breeds across Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida. Many of the dogs that come through SSBR’s care have endured heartbreaking experiences of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. As a foster-based rescue, SSBR places each dog with a dedicated foster family who works tirelessly to provide the love, structure, and rehabilitation they need to thrive. These fosters are the heart of the organization, helping prepare each dog for a second chance at life through adoption. Beyond rescue, SSBR is committed to changing perceptions and building a better future for bully breeds—dogs who often face unfair judgment and stigma through no fault of their own. Their goal is to show the world what those of us who love them already know: these dogs are loyal, affectionate, and deeply deserving of love. In July 2020, my husband and I adopted our Pitbull, Conan, from SSBR—and he’s been the heart of our home ever since. I can’t say enough about the incredible work this organization does to support and advocate for such a misunderstood yet loving breed.
